Noise at work legislation is now becoming a serious consideration for employers and employees, especially as the First Action Level was decreased from 85dB to 80dB in February 2006 in Europe. It is therefore essential that employers take the necessary actions to protect their staff, and keep them within the stated sound level parameters as defined by state or local legislation.
